A preparatory visit for an international youth project was successfully held in Komárom, aiming to lay the organizational foundations for the youth exchange program titled "Building Skills for Effective Youth Advocacy." The meeting brought together 11 young people and youth workers from six countries—Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, and Ukraine. The facilitation was supported by Tímea Székely, professional leader of the Hungarian Youth Conference.
The two-day meeting aimed to allow organizers to personally explore the theoretical and practical frameworks of the project, jointly review the details of the program, and prepare for the smooth implementation of the youth exchange scheduled for the summer. The agenda included site analysis, discussions on logistical issues, risk assessment, and updates to the participant information materials.
The youth exchange is planned to take place from June 23 to 30 in Keszthely, with the support of the European Union, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
